Portal is free… Again

Valve’s critically acclaimed first person puzzle game Portal is free on Steam for the umpteenth time. Having came out in 2007 and received more game of the year awards than any game before it, you would think that everyone and their grandmothers would have played it already. But Valve seems to think otherwise.

Inspired by the fact that educators are using the game as a tool to teach mathematics, Valve decided to give it away to encourage more learning. What have they got to lose, really? It’s just a digital download for a game that sold, like, a bajillion copies.

This deal, I guess you could call it, lasts until September 20th.
