Were The 3DS’ Hardware Specs Leaked?

Looking good, Nintendo.

IGN is reporting that Nintendo’s newest handheld had it’s hardware specifications leaked. If the leak is true, the 3DS is looking like a beast. The specs include:

  • Two 266MHz ARM11 CPUs
  • One 133MHz GPU
  • 4MBs of dedicated VRAM
  • 64MBs of RAM
  • 1.5GBs of flash storage

It should be noted that early iPhone models, Zune HDs, and some Android smartphones use the ARM11, and the onboard flash memory is significantly higher than the DSi’s 256MBs.

But this is all speculation until Nintendo officially reveals the price and release date of the 3DS. They are set to announce these in only a few days on September 29th.

Also, I really hope they release it in the purple they showed at E3.
