The Epitome Of Stupidity

What are you doing Nintendo?

Nintendo has decided to take a stand against the websites that they deem a threat to their intellectual property, Pokémon.

“Are they finally going after the pirates?” You may ask…

The answer is no.

Nintendo has decided to go after the most harmless of websites, the fansites. Places like Serebii and Pokébeach (now Pokerbeach) have been warned to remove any pictures and video related to Pokémon Black and White claiming it is a threat to Nintendo’s copyrights.

“While Nintendo appreciates your interest in and support of thePokémon game series, your publication of this content infringes Nintendo’s copyrights in violation of federal law. Your activity also and has the potential to cause substantial damage to Nintendo, and leaves Nintendo with no choice but to take steps to protect its intellectual property rights.”

I’m not gonna say anything else, I’m just gonna leave this open for discussion.
